So, if you're eyeing that popular spot or dreaming of an intimate weekday ceremony, go for it! You'll thank yourself when you're enjoying a serene, crowd-free elopement. But, even if you can only do weekends, I can make anything work and still be an amazing time.

Hiring an Elopement Photographer

Are they a photographer only? Some elopement photographers only offer an all day photoshoot. That is NOT what I would want on my elopement and I’m sure you don’t also.

I’ve found the Airbnb’s with solid reviews are a way to find the most unique and amazing looking places to stay out of anywhere else online. I’ve been using it myself and have over 50 reviews just as a guest from all over the world. So if you need some helping in choosing the right place that you can trust I can help out with that for you. There are really some jaw dropping places to stay on there that you’ll never find on a hotel website.
On your elopement day you’d probably love to feel more at “home” then a hotel.

Everything doesn’t have to be exact, but if you have a dream cabin you’ve had your eye on, it’s best to scoop that up soon as you can.

If you're saying your vows in a lush forest, earthy tones and flowing fabrics can complement the natural surroundings. For a beach elopement, lightweight and breathable fabrics may be the perfect choice. Aligning your attire with the setting creates a picturesque tableau that enhances the magic of the moment. But, if you wanted to wear a neon pink dress and yellow suit in the forest, have at it. No rules rule and I love going agasint the norm!

Comfortable shoes are a must if you're exploring nature or dancing under the stars. Prioritize practicality without compromising on style. If you’re going on a hike, opt for hiking boots then change into dress shoes at the top, or heck, just keep the hiking boots on with the dress or suit. I think it’s such a cool vibe and I love them in the pics I take for people.

Question and Answers

We want to invite people to our elopement…

For sure! Your elopement is a personal celebration, and you can invite people to join in if that's what you desire. Whether it's a few close friends or family members, or a more extended guest list, the choice is entirely yours. As an elopement photographer I find the best number caps around 10-20. The more people you have it can be challenging to get everyone on a trek, on time and more opinions, expenses and condition starts to come into play with a lot of people. Communication is key – share your plans with those you'd like to include and make it a memorable day surrounded by the people who matter most to you.

You do not have to invite anyone else, this is your your day, it’s ok to be selfish. I have seen people also do a private elopement on one day then the day after invite their friends and family for another ceremony. Yes to no rules! I have a multi day elopement package for situations like this. Just hit me up and let’s plan exactly what your vision is.

Is it Easy to Elope?

Eloping can be surprisingly easy and stress-free! Unlike planning a traditional massive wedding, eloping allows for simplicity and flexibility. The permits to get married in state park and a marriage license is something you need to research, as well there are different rules if you are going to elope in another country. I am here to help you research and plan all of this with you.

How Much will our Elopement Cost?

The cost of eloping varies widely and depends on your choices. Eloping can be budget-friendly, with lower expenses on venue, catering, and a smaller guest list. However, it can also involve travel costs, accommodations, and unique experiences that align with your vision. The beauty of eloping is its flexibility – you can tailor it to fit your budget while creating a meaningful and unforgettable experience. Whether it's a simple courthouse ceremony or an exotic destination elopement, the financial aspect is adaptable to your preferences and priorities.

This is one of the THE MOST important days of your life. You are paying for the experience and memories. Saving a little of bit of money to not have the experience you really want is something that can stay in your mind for years and leave regret.

If you book with me all my travel expenses are included in every package. So every plane, train, automobile and food expense is factored into the pricing already. Plus if you’re doing an 8 hour hike it may be hard to find one to go with you. But, if you have a photographer like me I can sign off on your wedding legally (depending on the state) and do the hike with you and get the epic photos!
